Travel RNs assigned to Illinois earn up to $2685/week including non-taxed weekly stipendMust live 90+ miles from the facilityCenturion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Shawnee Correctional Center in Vienna, IL. Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.The Travel Program RN will work between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Illinois, per contract needs. Each assignment will be restricted to one location. The RN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Registered Nurses work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological and social needs of the patient.Licensed RN with an active license to practice in IllinoisMust live over 90 miles from the designated facilityLicense reimbursement after 90 days employmentMinimum of one year of work experience as an RN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferredCorrections experience preferredPrevious travel nursing experience preferredMust be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLSAbility to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background checkWe offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including:Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance401(k) with company matchGenerous paid time offPaid holidaysFlexible Spending AccountContinuing Education benefitsMuch more...
