Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with acute care and pediatric echocardiography experience for a 13-week travel assignment.
Details
EKG/Cardio Pulmonary unit in a 272-bed hospital
4 Cardiac Sonographers on staff
Uses GE E95 and Philips Epiq ultrasound equipment
EMR: Meditech and CCW
4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Rotating weekend and on-call coverage required, including 2 nights of call per week
Requirements
Minimum 6 months experience in an acute care setting as an Echo Tech
Pediatric echocardiography experience required
BLS and RCS certification required
ARDMS certification preferred
Prior Meditech experience preferred
License required if applicable
Additional Information
Perform adult echocardiograms (portable inpatient and outpatient), transesophageal echocardiograms, bubble studies, and Definity contrast studies
Complete structured reporting on all procedures performed
Must be flexible, a strong team player, and patient-focused with good communication skills with staff and providers
Black or hospital-provided scrubs required
