Overview: Position: Travel ED Registered Nurse Location: Lewiston, Maine Department: Emergency Services Shifts Available: Nights Pay: up to $672-$768 gross pay per shift; equivalent to $56.00 - $64.00 per hour. Responsibilities: Oversees ED operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts.Ensures safe, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
Manages staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments.
Supervises, coaches, and supports staff development.
Assists with performance management and HR-related activities.
Monitors supplies, equipment, and unit readiness.Coordinates patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Addresses patient care concerns and escalates issues as needed.
Rounds with patients and families to support a positive experience.
Provides direct patient care when needed to maintain safe staffing levels.
Qualifications: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
Current and valid state RN License
Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting, E.D. setting required.
PALS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting, E.D. setting required.

This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location.
