Concentric Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in McKinney, Texas.

Schedule / Job TypeContract Travel 13 Weeks Night Shift 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM 3x12-hour shifts
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care in a 37-bed, Level 2 Trauma Emergency Department with a 1:4 patient ratio in zone
Operate GE monitoring equipment and document accurately using MediTech EMR
Deliver high-caliber patient experience across all interactions in a fast-paced ED environment
Perform standard ED procedures and respond appropriately to a diverse patient population including pediatric patients
Float as needed to support ED patients admitted and holding within the department
Adhere to a schedule that includes 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period; no on-call requirement
Required QualificationsActive RN licensure in the state of Texas or compact license eligibility
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
PALS certification required
TNCC certification required
Proficiency with MediTech EMR
High-caliber patient experience skills are essential; candidates without this will not be considered
Preferred Experience / SkillsPrior experience in an HCA facility
Familiarity with Level 2 Trauma center workflows and procedures typical of a busy ED
High energy, self-motivated, and team-oriented personality
Ability to commit to an early start date with minimal time-off requests during the assignment
