Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ED RN for a Level 1 trauma center requiring 4 years of adult and pediatric emergency experience.
Details
Emergency Department position in a large, high-acuity Level 1 trauma center
Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Deferred scheduling with no block scheduling approved
Travelers expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
No on-call requirements
Requirements
Active GA or Compact RN license required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
TNCC and ENPC certifications preferred
Minimum 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric emergency experience required
Large-scale, high-volume trauma center experience required
Level 1 trauma center experience preferred
Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
Additional Information
Deliver emergency care in a high-pressure, high-volume, inner-city trauma environment
Provide care for complex and challenging adult and pediatric cases
Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
Conditional compliance accepted if credentialing is proven to be in process
