We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Denton, TX. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment within the Emergency Department (ER).
As an ER RN, you will be part of a 41-bed unit, managing approximately 135 patients a day with a 4:1 patient ratio. Your expertise will be crucial in providing care to a diverse patient population, including those with stroke, ACS, diabetes, and AKD. The facility is actively pursuing Level 3 trauma accreditation and is recognized as a Primary Stroke Center with a Chest Pain Center and 24/7 Cath Lab.
Key Responsibilities:
n Deliver high-quality nursing care to emergency patients.n
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.n
Participate in trauma care and emergency interventions.n
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.n
Requirements:
n Current RN license in the state of Texas.n
TNCC, BLS, ALS, PALS, or ENPC certification required.n
Trauma experience highly preferred.n
CPI certification upon extension.n
