Description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring at least one year of acute/critical care experience and ACLS certification.
Details
Emergency Services department in an acute care hospital setting
13-week travel assignment on night shift, 19:00-07:30
No on-call requirements
Requires floating between ICU and Telemetry units
Requirements
Active and valid IL RN license
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum of one year of experience as a staff RN in acute care/critical care
CCRN certification preferred
Skilled in cardiac strip interpretation and titration of drips
COVID vaccination/boosters preferred
Additional Information
Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Provide patient and family education and guide other nursing personnel while maintaining unit standards of care
Communicate with physicians regarding changes in patient condition, hemodynamic monitoring, and diagnostic results
Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response
Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travelers
