Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
Position Overview The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The ER RN will work collaboratively with healthcare teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in alignment with established protocols and standards.
Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' conditions upon arrival in the emergency department.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Provide effective communication to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and care processes.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Monitor patients' vital signs and respond appropriately to changes in medical condition.
Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training as required.
Qualifications Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room or critical care setting.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Work Schedule This position requires working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Flexibility regarding shift changes may be necessary to accommodate departmental needs.
