Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift Shift: 14:15 - 03:45, 12-hour night shift, 36 hours guaranteed per week.
Job Description The Registered Nurse will provide care in a busy Emergency Department, focusing on trauma, stroke, and chest pain cases. The unit features a 10-room layout with a 19-bed/chair capacity and a patient ratio of 4:1. The position requires familiarity with the MedHost EMR system.
Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
Perform assessments and triage patients as needed.
Utilize critical thinking to manage trauma and emergency situations.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
Required Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department or similar setting.
Travel experience preferred.
Certifications/Licensure Current Registered Nurse licensure.
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (AHA or ARC accepted).
