Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Hopewell, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Position Overview This position involves providing high-quality nursing care within an emergency room setting. The role requires a compassionate and proactive approach to patient care, ensuring safety and comfort for all patients. Key Responsibilities Assess and monitor patients' conditions and vital signs. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with healthcare team members to create and implement patient care plans. Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options. Meet emotional and physical needs of patients in high-pressure situations. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an emergency room environment. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic setting. Work Schedule This position requires availability for the night shift, working from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
