United Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Danville, Virginia.

Position: Emergency Department RN
Schedule: 9:00 AM-9:00 PM, 36 guaranteed hours; rotating weekends as needed; no call
Experience: 5+ years ED; candidates with both ICU and ED experience will be considered
Required: ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS or ENPC, plus Handle with Care (available on site); all certifications in hand before start
EMR: MedHost in the ED, Meditech for admit holds and behavioral health
Unit: 31 beds plus 2 triage rooms, 7 of them used for behavioral health or acute patients; 1:4 ratio; serves all ages
Duties: Carry a 1:4 emergency assignment across all age groups, with floating as needed
Note: 250-bed academic community hospital and the region's only designated Chest Pain Center and Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center; orientation is bi-weekly on Tuesdays; scrub color is the traveler's choice; candidates must live 60+ miles from the facility to qualify as travel; random on-site drug screening and a criminal questionnaire consent form are required

United Staffing Solutions Job ID . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
