Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Bridgton, ME. This critical access hospital offers emergency care, medical-surgical services, and specialty care in a scenic Maine location. The ER nurse will be responsible for managing acute emergency cases and providing compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
Location: Bridgton, ME
Position: Emergency Room (ER) Nurse
Shift: Nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH (CPI, NRP preferred) 2+ years of experience in ER or critical access setting, with management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, phlebotomy, starting IVs, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation administration, CVA, Ortho-Trauma, head injury, Isolation Precautions, triage, and experience with Electronic Health Record systems
Preferred Qualifications: Critical access experience, NIH, NRP certification
Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours weekly, nights
Additional Information: Must be flexible for days, mids, nights, and scheduled shifts, as there is no set schedule. The unit manages acute emergency populations, stabilizes patients, and ships for trauma, stroke, or cardiac events.
