Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in the hospital setting. This role involves providing high-quality care in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency department, with a focus on trauma, critical care, and urgent patient needs, based on the facility's Level I Trauma Center designation and Magnet & Teaching hospital status.

Position: Emergency Room Nurse

Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid license, minimum 2-3 years of ER experience (preferably with Level I Trauma Center experience), ACLS, BLS certifications.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma, Level I Trauma Center, certification in CPI, NIHSS, and TNCC.
Responsibilities: Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, trauma care, critical assessment and stabilization, utilization of EPIC charting system, demonstration of proficiency with emergency procedures such as arterial line care, chest tube management, and procedural sedation.
Additional Information: The ER works in a high acuity, high volume environment with patient ratios of 4:1, and may include fast track and behavioral health areas. Experience with EPIC charting, Dysrhythmia interpretation, and Level I Trauma experience is required. The shift involves working in Navy blue scrubs, and candidates must pass a Relias EKG exam.
