Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a Level III Trauma Center. The role requires flexibility to float between units and support the organizations commitment to patient safety and exceptional care delivery during night shifts.
Job Details
Position Description: 1st timers ER RN. Responsibilities include managing a variety of emergency conditions such as trauma, acute psychosis, respiratory issues, and pediatric emergencies. The role involves direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, utilizing Epic charting system and adhering to clinical protocols.
Required Qualifications: Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC. Valid state license (compact license accepted). Education and experience include a minimum of 1-year clinical experience as an ER RN.
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations in an emergency setting; familiarity with Epic charting system; ability to manage complex patient conditions including trauma and psychiatric cases.
Additional Information: Candidates must be comfortable supporting multiple patient diagnoses, including respiratory, neurological, and trauma cases. Candidates should have experience managing emergency medications, intubation, IV therapy, and patient behavioral health needs.
Submission Requirements: Candidates must include responses regarding prior experience at Providence facilities, along with two references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years.
