Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Night shifts a healthcare organization seeks experienced ER RNs to provide exceptional patient care in the emergency setting. The position involves working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with a minimum commitment of 48 hours per week. Candidates must have prior travel experience to qualify for this assignment.
Job Details:
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., minimum of 48 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid active VA (Veterans Affairs) or compact license, at least 3 years of emergency department experience, current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course). Valid active VA or compact license at the time of submission is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience in similar size emergency departments with trauma level 2 or 1 experience, Cerner electronic medical record experience is strongly preferred, trauma certification such as ATCN or ATLC.
Additional Information: Emergency Department experience must be at least 3 years in a comparable trauma level 2 or 1 ED.
All candidates must have active CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification prior to start.
Assignments end on Saturday; travel professionals must work every other weekend.
Travel is required; local candidates within 60 miles are not accepted.
IVS approval from the manager is necessary.
The organization can cancel up to 36 hours prior to the start due to census fluctuations.
Active VA or compact licensing is required at the time of submission.
Applicants must submit all RTO documentation at the time of application.
