Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Emergency Room, Cheboygan/Petoskey, Michigan. The position provides immediate care for patients with conditions ranging from minor injuries to life-threatening trauma. The role supports a 24-hour emergency department environment with access to specialty services including cardiovascular, neurological, radiology, anesthesiology, and surgical care.
Job Details
Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Weekend and holiday coverage is required, with rotation generally occurring every other weekend or every third weekend depending on the shift.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience
Michigan nursing license
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Additional Information: Provides emergency care for patients with a broad range of medical conditions, injuries, and trauma. The position includes collaboration with cardiovascular, neurological, radiology, anesthesiology, and surgical specialty services. A skills checklist completed within one year of application is required for nursing specialties. No on-call duty is required.
