Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Denton, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Registered Nurse, Emergency Room, Denton, TX. This travel position supports emergency care in a 24-bed department and requires experience with emergency nursing workflows, documentation systems, and specified clinical certifications. The assignment includes 12-hour night shifts, every-other-weekend coverage, and call responsibilities. Job Details Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse license; temporary licenses are not accepted. Minimum of 2 years of specialty experience. Current National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification. Meditech experience. Additional Information: Every-other-weekend coverage is required. Call responsibilities are required. Royal blue scrubs are required. Artificial nails, gel nails, and similar nail enhancements are not permitted. Hair must be neat and clean; shoulder-length or longer hair must be pulled back when working in the lab. Beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed. Visible non-ear piercings are prohibited. Tattoos should be covered whenever possible.
