Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse, Springfield, Missouri This position involves providing high-quality emergency patient care in a busy urban trauma center. The role requires applying clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients across all age groups within a Level 1 trauma, stroke, STEMI, and regional burn center.
Job Details
Position: Emergency Room Nurse
Location: Springfield, MO
Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 07:00 to 19:00
Qualifications: Current RN License meeting Missouri state licensure requirements, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from AHA; TNCC and NIHSS certifications may be submitted without but must be obtained prior to start. Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency department setting, preferably in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma facility.
Preferred Qualifications: Trauma/Peds experience, high patient volume (200+ patients/day), and high acuity expertise.
Additional Information: Utilizes nursing process to deliver patient care, monitors and coordinates within multidisciplinary teams, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and functions within the scope of nursing practice as defined by applicable laws and regulations. Demonstrated communication skills and clinical expertise are required.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
