Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Endoscopy position requiring ERCP experience and on-call availability at a large trauma 1 teaching facility.
Details
Work in the Endoscopy unit performing numerous ERCP procedures
9H rotating Day/Evening shift schedule
On-call requirement
No floating required
Travelers must work 2 of the 4 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day
Requirements
Active RN license (VT or Compact) currently in hand
AHA BLS and AHA ACLS required; AHA PALS preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience required
Recent experience in a trauma 1, large (500+ bed), teaching facility required
Experience starting IVs, assessing H&P information, and post-procedure recovery for conscious sedation patients required
Experience providing conscious sedation medication and monitoring patients in the procedure room required
EPIC experience within the past 2 years required
Additional Information
Provide nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures including ERCPs
Administer and monitor conscious sedation during procedures
Reliable personal transportation strongly recommended as public transportation is not accessible in the area
Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April
Accepts local candidates
