Job Summary
nAn opportunity is available for a skilled Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Registered Nurse to join a dynamic healthcare team. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within an Electrophysiology Lab, focusing on various cardiac procedures.
Shift and Schedule
n Shift: 4x10 Days
Typical Hours: 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM
Call Requirements: Participation in one week of weekday call every two months and one weekend call every two months.
n Key Responsibilities
n Assist in performing specialized procedures, including Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Mapping, and Arrhythmia Induction.
Conduct Conduction Studies and assist with Baseline Measurements.
Facilitate the insertion and programming of AICDs and Pacemakers.
Perform Pacemaker/Defibrillator lead extraction/removal and Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure.
Provide patient education and support during various procedures.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
n Qualifications
n Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
Current certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Proficiency in Epic and Electrophysiology Lab procedures is required.
Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Nursing, Biology, or Chemistry. A high school diploma is required if the candidate's higher education degree is in another field.
n Special Procedures and Unit Details
n Engagement in various advanced cardiac care procedures.
Focus on maintaining high standards of patient safety and care throughout all procedures.
