Concentric Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Turtle Lake, North Dakota.

Schedule / Job TypeContract 12-Hour Shifts Days and Nights Available ( / ) Every Other Weekend Required Alternating Holiday Coverage No Call or Standby Requirement
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care across the ER, MedSurg, and Swing Bed unit serving a primarily geriatric population with diagnoses including dementia, diabetes, stroke, wounds, and exacerbation of chronic illnesses
Deliver initial care for trauma patients presenting to the ER and support post-acute rehab and restorative care patients
Titrate drips including electrolytes, hypertensive medications, IV antibiotics, and blood transfusions; administer IV medications, fluids, and blood products
Read and independently interpret cardiac monitor strips
Practice within a team nursing model under a Charge Nurse present on each shift; float between ER and MedSurg as needed
Manage patient-controlled CPAP equipment and perform basic troubleshooting as needed
Required QualificationsActive RN licensure
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
Minimum 2 years of RN experience
Proficiency with EPIC EMR
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Candidates currently employed full-time, part-time, or PRN at any facility associated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity are not eligible
Requested time off must be submitted upfront and may not exceed 7 days per 13-week contract; additional RTO will not be approved
Preferred Experience / SkillsExperience with geriatric patient care, including dementia, stroke, and skin/wound care
Familiarity with team nursing models in a rural or critical access hospital setting
Comfort working across multiple units in a small-hospital environment
