WI ER RN - FT Weekender (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) Nights 7p-7a Travel Assignment Overview This Registered Nurse position is essential for coordinating nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department, ranging from pediatric to geriatric age groups. The ideal candidate will be skilled in direct patient care, triage, and collaboration with various healthcare disciplines to provide optimum patient care across the continuum of illness to wellness.
Assignment Details Shift Details: Nights, 7p-7a (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Assignment Length: Full-time, Weekender
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2700 (negotiable)
Responsibilities Plan, implement, and evaluate all levels of patient care.
Perform age-appropriate assessments and provide safe, effective care.
Conduct triage using the Emergency Severity Index (ESI) 5 level triage process.
Maintain comprehensive and legally acceptable documentation of patient care.
Collaborate with providers, peers, and ancillary services for patient care.
Prioritize multiple patient care needs efficiently.
Monitor life support and other technical equipment, administering complex treatments.
Provide educational experiences for emergency providers and students.
Respond to crises calmly and efficiently.
Qualifications Required:
Two-year degree in nursing.
Wisconsin Registered Nursing license or active Compact Licensure.
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications.
2+ years of relevant work experience.
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred:
Four-year degree in nursing.
ATCN certification.
PEL/VIP Job ID . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 32.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
