Job Summary Travel ER RN – Adventure Awaits in Carlsbad, NM!
Ready to take your ER skills somewhere unforgettable? This is your chance to work in a fast-paced Emergency Department while living near one of the most unique natural landscapes in the U.S.
Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico
Start: ASAP
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Floating & call required
Call: Minimum 2 hours prior to shift
Position Details
Emergency Department | Level III Trauma Center
EMR: Med Host (EDIS)
Scrub Color: None – Full Uniform Required
AUTO OFFERS ONLY – NO INTERVIEWS
Requirements
2+ years of ER experience
Required Certifications: ACLS
BLS
PALS
TNCC
ENPC
NRP (preferred)
Important Notes
No blocked scheduling
No 48-hour guarantees
Floating is required
Max RTO: 1 request per schedule (6-week scheduling)
Holiday Requirement: 1 Summer & 1 Winter (based on department needs)
What You’ll Do
As an ER RN, you’ll take full shift accountability for patient care, including:
Performing comprehensive patient assessments
Applying critical thinking and clinical judgment in high-pressure situations
Administering medications and monitoring for side effects
Coordinating care and delegating tasks effectively
Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation
Upholding safety, infection control, and quality standards
You’ll be a leader on the floor—guiding care, anticipating needs, and ensuring the best possible outcomes for every patient.
