nThis is a Monday to Friday position, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. No weekends or call required.
Job Description
nThe Outpatient GI Lab Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. The nurse will be responsible for preoperative and postoperative care for patients undergoing gastrointestinal procedures.
Responsibilities
n Assist and monitor patients during gastrointestinal procedures.
Provide preoperative assessments and patient education.
Conduct postoperative evaluations and manage care in the recovery area.
Administer medications and ensure patient safety throughout the care continuum.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
n Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
n Minimum of 2 years of experience in a GI lab or similar procedure setting.
BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
Experience with Epic EMR is required.
Must possess a current Registered Nurse license.
