Job description

Healthcare Recruiter (Home Health Nursing & School Staffing)

Location: Remote / Nationwide

Company: Ardor Health Solutions

About Us

Ardor Health Solutions is a national leader in healthcare staffing with 25 years of proven success connecting top clinicians and educational professionals with opportunities across the country. Founded in 2001 and still family owned and women owned today, we’ve built our reputation on relationships, reliability, and placing the right people in the right roles. As we expand our remote recruiting team, we’re searching for competitive, high energy recruiters who know how to build a thriving book of business from anywhere. If you thrive on performance, relationships, and the satisfaction of placing top tier talent, this role is for you.

Position Overview

We’re hiring Healthcare Staffing Recruiters with the skill and grit to specialize in either:

Home Health Nursing Recruiting

You’ll recruit Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs/LVNs), and other nursing professionals for home health assignments across the U.S. Home health is one of the fastest growing areas of care in the country, and agencies are competing hard for qualified nurses. This niche moves fast and requires strong persuasion, rapid response time, and the hustle to match urgent client needs with nurses who know home health inside and out, from OASIS documentation and start of care visits to recertifications and wound care.

School Staffing Recruiting (A.S.K. Division)

You’ll recruit for A.S.K., Ardor’s pediatric and educational staffing division, placing Speech Language Pathologists (including Clinical Fellows), SLP Assistants, Occupational Therapists, COTAs, Physical Therapists, PTAs, School Nurses, Special Education Teachers, School Psychologists, and support staff in schools and districts nationwide. Schools across the country face real shortages in these roles, and when a position goes unfilled, students go without services. This niche runs on the school calendar and requires planning ahead, building pipeline months in advance, and moving fast during the back to school rush.

What Both Roles Have in Common

Regardless of specialty, you will:

Own the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, selling, screening, negotiating, and supporting your candidates on assignment

Work in a high activity, performance driven environment where resilience and sales skills are key

Build trusted relationships and manage a steady pipeline of clinicians and educators

Hit weekly and monthly KPIs focused on calls, submissions, interviews, and placements

Succeed independently in a fully remote, highly disciplined work environment

This is a role for recruiters who want to earn big, grow fast, and build a strong book of business.

Responsibilities

Source and recruit nursing and/or school based professionals through proactive outreach, job boards, LinkedIn, social media, referrals, university programs, and cold sourcing

Reactivate past candidates and build a referral network among the professionals you place

Build and maintain candidate pipelines in your specialty area, staying ahead of client and district demand

Conduct thorough screens covering clinical or educational background, licensure, certifications, availability, and pay expectations

Verify licensure and credentials, including Nursys and compact license status for nurses, and state licensure, ASHA certification, and education certifications for school professionals

Sell job opportunities and guide candidates through the entire hiring process

Manage offers, contract negotiations, and onboarding

Partner with our credentialing team to collect licenses, certifications, background checks, fingerprinting, health records, and client specific requirements so start dates stay on track

Exceed weekly activity, submission, and placement targets

Support candidates throughout their assignments to ensure success, extensions, renewals, and retention

Keep all candidate activity and statuses accurate and current in our ATS

Collaborate with account managers and internal teams to fill high priority client needs quickly and effectively

Share market intelligence on pay rates, competition, and candidate trends with leadership

What Success Looks Like

First 30 days: learn our systems, clients, and processes and start building your pipeline

First 60 days: submit candidates consistently and work closely with account managers

First 90 days: make placements and build a roster of professionals who trust you

Long term: own a book of business that grows through redeployments, renewals, and referrals

Requirements

2+ years of successful, quota driven healthcare recruiting experience

1+ year working fully remote with proven self management and discipline

Prior experience in home health, nursing, school, or pediatric staffing is a major plus

Strong sales drive with excellent communication and negotiation skills

Experience with ATS platforms and a comfort level working with KPIs

A winning mindset: competitive, goal oriented, and coachable

Preferred

Existing network of nurses or school based professionals

Familiarity with home health pay structures (per visit, hourly, salaried) or school staffing timelines and IEP driven caseloads

Knowledge of the Nurse Licensure Compact, ASHA requirements, Clinical Fellowship, or state teaching certifications

What We Offer

Competitive base salary + weekly uncapped commissions + bonuses

Remote flexibility with a high performance, supportive culture

Medical benefits, Unlimited PTO*, Fertility Insurance, and robust training

A growth first environment where accountability and success are rewarded

25 years of stability with the culture of a family business and direct access to leadership
