Requirements:
Current State License as a Physical Therapist; Proof of current CPR certification; Current driver's license. Must have reliable transportation and insurance; 1-2 years experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.
Responsibilities:
Conduct clinical assessments to identify patient needs and determine appropriateness of care.
Develop, review, and update Plans of Care, progress notes, and clinical documentation regularly.
Plan and deliver treatments for neuromuscular, neurological, and orthopedic disorders based on referrals and assessments.
Instruct patients and families on transfer techniques and equipment use, ensuring safety.
Educate patients and families on therapeutic procedures tailored to age, condition, and cultural considerations.
Oversee or collaborate with team members to ensure patient needs are met.
Apply infection control protocols and universal precautions during care activities.
Accept clinical assignments aligned with education and competence.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
