Job description
Travel Physical Therapist (PT) responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing patient care plans in an acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee supervision of PTAs and support staff
Bill and document accurately following facility and regulatory guidelines
Collaborate with medical personnel to ensure a team-focused plan of care
Assess patient needs, modify plans as needed, and understand adaptive equipment
Utilize computer systems for daily tasks and ensure compliance with documentation standards
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 6 months of experience as a PT; new grads encouraged to apply
Valid state-specific license and BLS certification
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lean for extended periods
Additional Details
This role involves working 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, with a focus on patient-centered care and team collaboration. Certifications beyond BLS may be required prior to start. The position offers competitive pay, benefits, and weekly pay guarantees.
