Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Westwood, New Jersey.

Job Summary
ICU RN (Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse), located in the healthcare facility, providing specialized critical care to patients. This role involves managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, ventilated patients, and those requiring complex interventions during night shifts.
Job Details
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: RN license with a minimum of 1.5 years of ICU experience, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, arterial line management, central line care, continuous IV sedation, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilator care, arterial blood gas (ABGs) interpretation, suctioning (ETT, NT), and isolation precautions/PPE.
Additional Information: The ICU unit accepts first-time travelers. Candidates must have a state or compact license at the time of submittal, and all RTO (Requested Time Off) must be listed at submission. Completion of core onboarding items/labs within 48 hours of contract signing is required, with onsite modules during orientation.
