Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Lake Havasu City, AZ. This position involves providing specialized critical care to adult and geriatric patients with various diagnoses, including STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, and stroke, within a community hospital setting. The role requires a dedicated healthcare professional to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
Position: RN ICU
Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ
Shift: 3x12-hour shifts
Schedule: Days shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
Education and Experience: 2 years of ICU experience, current licensure as an RN, at least 1 year of recent travel or ICU experience, and active practice in adult and geriatric patient care.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult critical care, managing STEMI, NSTEMI, sepsis, and stroke patients.
Additional Information: Responsible for caring for adult and geriatric patients with complex medical needs, utilizing Baxter pumps and Medhost electronic health record system. The unit has 16 beds with a 1:2 patient-to-nurse ratio and may involve float requirements in the intermediate care unit and emergency department holding. Candidates should be available to start on 10/05/2026 and complete their assignment by 01/03/2027.
