Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in San Francisco, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse position available in a healthcare facility, providing critical care to adult and geriatric patients. The role involves managing complex patient conditions and utilizing specialized skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment. Job Details Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC* Education Requirements: Valid California RN License, associated certifications, and active Nursys verification within the last 2 weeks. Location Requirements: California RN licensure. Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required; 4 years preferred. Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. No on-call required; weekend rotation necessary. Responsibilities include arterial line management, ventilator care, ICU patient monitoring, emergency procedures, and advanced clinical interventions. Additional qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, trauma level I or II experience preferred, and previous charge nurse experience is a plus. Float: Float rotation may be required.
