Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Nashville, Tennessee.

Unit Overview Number of Beds: 32
Patient Ratios: 2:1
Unit Staffing Description: Student nurse externs available as techs
Unit secretary available Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Type of Equipment: Hill-Rom beds, Phillips telemetry monitors
Documentation System: Meditech
Scheduling Requirements: 4-week schedules, requiring 3-4 weekend shifts per scheduling period
Floating Policy: Float as needed to units where required based on unit census
Position Requirements Must have significant cardiac experience and strong critical care proficiency
Advanced Skills Preferred: PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring
IABP
Impella
CRRT
Procedures Performed on Unit: Central line insertion
Swan insertion
Intubations
Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS
Dress Code Scrubs (galaxy blue, red, black)
Scrub jackets or vests only
Awards and Recognition Nurse Practice Council
Daisy Award Recipient
Additional Information Growing cardiogenic shock program with specialized providers
12 beds designated for cardiogenic shock patients
Excellent teamwork and engaged staff
