Concentric Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Palestine, Texas.

Candidates residing within 50-100 miles of the facility may be subject to a reduced rate or may not be accepted.

Job TitleICU Registered Nurse (Nights)

Schedule / Job TypeContract 13 Weeks Night Shift Onsite
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct critical care nursing to ICU patients in a 10-bed unit with a 1:2 patient ratio
Manage and monitor patients with common diagnoses including respiratory failure, DKA, COPD exacerbation, post-heart cath, CHF, and post-op conditions
Operate unit equipment including Baxter pumps and Tele Access Critical Care systems
Document patient care accurately using the MedHost electronic health record system
Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
Fulfill weekend shift expectations of 6 shifts within a 6-week schedule
Required QualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license
AHA ACLS certification required
AHA BLS certification required
Minimum of 1 year of critical care experience
Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement
Preferred Experience / Skills2 or more years of ICU or critical care nursing experience
Prior experience with MedHost EHR
Familiarity with Baxter pumps and telemetry/critical care monitoring systems
