Concentric Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Candidates residing within 50–100 miles of the facility may be subject to a reduced rate or may not be accepted.

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Days, 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM | 13 Weeks | Floating to ER and Med/Surg departments required
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide total patient care in a 12-bed ICU with a 1:2–3 patient ratio
Manage and monitor patients on ventilators and titratable drips
Mix medications and perform patient hygiene care as part of comprehensive ICU management
Float to the Emergency Room to assist with call lights, medication passing, patient transport, IV starts, and blood draws (no independent patient assignment required in ER)
Float to Med/Surg and take a full patient assignment of up to 6 patients, or serve in an aide capacity covering up to 12 patients
Participate in holiday coverage as required; no on-call required
Required QualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
Willingness and ability to float to ER and Med/Surg departments
Fingerprinting is required for all travelers working in New Mexico — submitting agency must be registered with the State of New Mexico, as this process may take several weeks
Preferred Experience / SkillsEmergency Room and/or Med/Surg experience preferred
TNCC certification preferred
Experience with ventilators, titratable drips, medication mixing, and patient hygiene care preferred
