Concentric Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Clarion, Pennsylvania.

Schedule / Job TypeContract Rotating Shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Every other weekend required Every other holiday required
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care in an 8-bed ICU with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3, managing primarily cardiac and neurology diagnoses
Titrate drips and manage common titratable and set-rate infusions as required by patient acuity
Interpret cardiac rhythms independently using Nihon-Kohden monitoring systems
Collaborate with hospitalist, resident, or mid-level providers; respiratory therapy available as needed for ventilator management
Participate in charge nurse coverage as needed; charge nurse maintains patient assignment
Complete unit-specific orientation with duration based on individual experience level
Required QualificationsActive RN licensure in Pennsylvania or compact state eligibility
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
Prior ICU experience required
Preferred Experience / SkillsExperience managing cardiac and neurology patient populations in an intensive care setting
Familiarity with titratable drip management in a critical care environment
Experience with Nihon-Kohden cardiac monitoring systems
