Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Description We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Ideal candidates will have significant experience and competence in managing various patient types in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care for neuro and spine patients, including those on pressors and BiPAP requiring high FiO2, with potential transitions to ICU care.
Monitor patient conditions and manage both routine and complex nursing tasks.
Perform skills including chest tube management, wound vac handling, dressing changes, and femoral arterial sheath monitoring.
Support patients with conditions such as DKA and assist with post-technical procedures including TCAR and femoral endarterectomy.
Oversee and monitor patients on arterial lines, Impella, and IABP with proven competence.
Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 completed travel assignment.
ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
Experience with the specific patient populations and skills outlined above is essential.
Familiarity with the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system is preferred.
Work Environment Patient Ratios: Typically 2:1, occasionally 1:1 based on patient acuity.
Floating between ICU and lower care levels may be necessary throughout the hospital.
Weekend rotation required: Every other weekend.

Facility Overview Join a community-focused healthcare organization with a total of 226 beds, including 20 Acute Care Unit (ACU) beds and 11 Coronary Care Unit (CCU) beds, located in a non-profit setting.
