American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 9, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 2 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring a CO or compact RN license and ACLS/NIHSS certification. Details Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, Weekend shifts required May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift Uses Epic for charting Requirements Active RN license - Single State or CO Compact required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA) required, not expiring prior to start Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required ASN required, BSN preferred DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration Additional Information Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, including health teaching and counseling Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans and document in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment American Traveler Job ID P- . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
