Job Title: Stepdown/IMC/PCU | RN - Registered Nurse

Schedule: 12's: Must be on the unit ready to go by 6:45 am/pm. Shifts run from 7a - 7p. Self-scheduling is allowed as long as the needs of the unit are met. Staff are allowed 4 requested days off per month
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Responsibilities:
Provide skilled nursing care to intermediate care unit patients including chest pain, r/o MI, CHF, arrhythmias, post pacer, pre/post caths, and overflow patients.
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips, titrate drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Labetolol, Nitro, Heparin, and occasionally Lasix.
Assist with managing ventilators and respiratory equipment, supporting RTs in their tasks.
Collaborate with hospitalist and intensivist teams, including 24/7 in-house coverage, to ensure patient safety and care quality.
Float as needed into MedSurg areas with ratios up to 1:6 or 1:7, following floor-specific orientation protocols.
