A clinical pharmacist opportunity is available for a travel assignment in Winnebago, NE, focusing on hospital inpatient care. This role is ideal for pharmacists with recent inpatient pharmacy experience who hold an active pharmacist license and are ready to apply their skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Schedule:
Full-Time
Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
Review patient medical records to ensure the safety, appropriateness, and effectiveness of drug therapy.
Communicate with medical staff regarding any prescriptions or dosages that may pose risk or harm to patients.
Maintain accurate counts of medications, with particular attention to controlled substances to prevent diversion, theft, fraud, and prescription drug abuse.
Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to promote optimal patient outcomes through effective medication management.
Qualifications:
Clear and active pharmacist license in any U.S. state.
Recent experience working in an inpatient pharmacy setting.
Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively with healthcare providers and patients alike.
