Job Summary
nPharmacist Inpatient (PHARM IP) The organization is seeking an experienced inpatient pharmacist for a day shift position at a medical facility location. This role involves comprehensive medication management in a hospital setting, ensuring accurate patient care and safety standards are maintained.
nJob Details
nnPosition Description: The role involves working in a hospital unit with a 150-bed capacity, supporting daily medication operations using Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) systems and Pyxis medication dispensing. The pharmacist will handle responsibilities related to inpatient medication administration and safety protocols.
nRequired Qualifications: Certification in IV medication administration, pharmacy licensure in Texas, and pharmacy technician certification and registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP).
nSchedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
nAdditional Information: Candidates without IV certification and Texas pharmacy licensure will not be considered. The position is a temporary assignment lasting from October 19, 2026, to January 18, 2027, with no on-call requirements. The pharmacist may work in a setting that requires adaptability, including supporting coverage with a 7 on/7 off schedule for a pharmacy technician position, including weekend rotations.
