American Consultants is seeking a travel Inpatient Hospital Pharmacist for a travel job in Topeka, Kansas.

Job Opportunity – Inpatient Pharmacist – Topeka, KS 66606
Start Date: October 12, 2026
Location: Topeka, Kansas
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:00), with shift times varying as needed. 13-week assignment with 4 weekends required. Daily census of approximately 100 patients.
Highlights:
Inpatient acute care pharmacy position serving diverse patient populations including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
Work with Epic charting system in a collaborative interdisciplinary environment
Comprehensive orientation provided with 24-36 hours of onsite training
First-time travelers welcome with 2 years of experience preferred
One pre-approved time off period available during assignment
Strong interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
Requirements:
Active Kansas State Pharmacist license (required at time of submission)
PharmD and RPh credentials required
BLS and ACLS certifications current and in hand
2 years of pharmacy experience preferred
Epic charting system experience required
Proficiency in anticoagulation therapy, high-alert medications, IV push medications, pediatric dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, renal dosing, sterile technique, therapeutic medication monitoring, and warfarin dosing
Experience with Pyxis medication management systems
Community hospital experience preferred
Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
