Job Opportunity – Inpatient Pharmacist – Topeka, KS 66606
Start Date: October 12, 2026
Location: Topeka, Kansas
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:00), shift times may vary. 13-week assignment with 4 weekends required. Block scheduling. Daily census of approximately 100 patients.
Highlights:
Inpatient pharmacy position serving diverse patient populations including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
Work with Epic charting system in an acute care environment
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, and rapid response teams
24-hour orientation provided with one pre-approved time off period available

Two positions available for this assignment
Requirements:
PharmD degree required
Active Kansas State Pharmacy license (RPh) required at time of submission
BLS and ACLS certifications required in hand at submission
2 years of pharmacy experience preferred
Epic charting system experience required
Proficiency in anticoagulation therapy, high-alert medications, IV push medications, pediatric dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, renal dosing, sterile technique, therapeutic medication monitoring, and Warfarin dosing
Experience with Pyxis medication dispensing system
Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
