Description
American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for an inpatient rehab unit at a Level 3 Trauma Center, offering a day shift schedule and welcoming new graduates.
Details
Inpatient rehab unit setting at a Level 3 Trauma Center
Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, 5x8s with possible 4x10s
40-hour work week guarantee
Weekend requirements are voluntary
No on-call requirements
Epic EMR used for documentation
Requirements
Active state SLP license required (compact license accepted), if applicable
Current BLS certification (AHA preferred, ARC or US Military also accepted)
Valid driver's license required
New graduates welcome to apply
Prior travel contract experience preferred
Epic EMR experience preferred
Mandatory reporter certification required
Work history and discipline-specific skills checklist required
Supervisory reference form completed within the last two years required
Additional Information
Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team
Provide speech-language pathology services to inpatient rehab patients
Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day)
Limited to 1 day off request during the Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year holiday periods
Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Past UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or float pool PRN) are ineligible to work travel assignments at other UPH markets within 12 months
First-time travelers will be considered
