Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring critical care/Angio-IR experience and stroke/trauma care skills at a Level 1 Trauma and Certified Stroke Center.
Details
Work in the Angiography/IR - Interventional Labs unit within the Heart and Vascular Tower
Unit consists of 3 Angiography Labs (2 dedicated IR Labs and 1 Hybrid OR)
1:1 patient ratio with team-based staffing of Lead Tech, RN, ARRT/RTR, and RCIS
Uses IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream equipment
Documentation completed in EPIC Cupid
4x10-hour shift schedule with on-call requirements
Procedures performed include Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma cases
Requirements
Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology required
Critical care/Angio-IR experience required, including stroke and trauma care
ICU/ER experience required
Critical care gtt management skills required
No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
Additional Information
Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Angiography/IR setting
Work within a Level 1 Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center
Required uniform: Royal blue and black for RNs
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
