Job Summary
nInterventional Radiology (IR) Nurse Location: Not Specified. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the interventional radiology unit at an acute care setting. The position requires adapting to a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities centered around patient care, coordination, and support during interventional radiology procedures.
nJob Details
nnCertifications, Education, and Experience: ACLS, BLS Certifications; licensure to submit; minimum of 2 years of related experience. No specific education level or location requirements specified.
nSchedule: 8-hour Days, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM, with on-call and holiday coverage, minimum of 40 hours per week.
nRequired Qualifications: Valid ACLS and BLS certifications, Pandemic Licensure Approved, at least 2 years of experience in a similar setting.
nAdditional Information: Orientation sessions are scheduled for 10/19 and 11/2. The assignment starts on 10/19/2026 and concludes on 01/18/2027. Call shifts include one full week per month starting at 1700 on Monday and ending at 0700 the following Monday, with weekday call starting at 1730 and ending at 0700, and weekend call from 0700 Saturday to 0700 Monday. The hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments. Charting is conducted via Cerner.
