An Interventional Radiology Nurse is a specialized RN whonassists the physician with medical imaging such as MRIs, ultrasounds ornX-rays. The RN - InterventionalnRadiology is responsible for patient care during the entire process, includingnthe initial assessment, the plan of care, administering medication, checkingnfor lab results, and reviewing the patient’s medical history.
Minimum Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which thennurse practices.
One year experience in Interventional Radiology preferred
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or statenregulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
