Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: On-call coverage required one weekday per week and every 7-8 weekends. Daily census of approximately 25 patients across 4 rooms with 8 beds. 24-hour orientation provided. No float requirement.
Highlights:
Advanced Neuro IR specialty position with focus on large vessel occlusion thrombectomy and comprehensive interventional procedures
Perform specialized procedures including embolization, UFE, paracentesis, thoracentesis, G-tube and nephrostomy tube placements
Work with advanced technology including lung, liver, and kidney biopsies, TIPS procedures, Y-90s, IVC filters, and dialysis access management
Epic charting system utilized for all documentation
Level I Trauma Center experience working with diverse patient populations including stroke, bleeds, PE, ESRD, liver and lung cancer
No time off on Thanksgiving or Christmas; one pre-approved time off period available
Requirements:
Current RN license in good standing
Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
Neuro IR experience required
Active certifications: BLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and ACLS
Level I Trauma Center experience required
Epic charting system experience required
Valid references and certification copies required at time of application
Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Pennsylvania state background clearances and fingerprinting required
First-time travelers accepted
