Description
American Traveler is hiring a Special Procedures Tech for an Interventional Radiology position requiring RT(R)(VI) certification and prior vascular OR experience.
Details
Work in the Radiology department of a Level 1 Trauma Center hospital
Vascular-Interventional Radiology specialty within a 300-bed facility
Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Every other weekend required
No on-call responsibilities
No floating required
Uses Phillips Allura X-ray systems across two procedure rooms
EPIC EHR system used
Requirements
Current BLS certification required
RT(R)(VI) certification required
Vascular Interventional Boards (VI) education required
1+ years of experience preferred
Knowledge of Vascular OR procedures, equipment, and radiation safety required
Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Active, verifiable licensure required at time of consideration
Additional Information
Perform vascular interventional radiology procedures in an Operating Room setting
Work collaboratively as part of an OR team with a positive attitude
OR scrubs provided;
street clothes acceptable outside the OR but must change before entry
Weekly orientation held on Mondays
Candidates must be 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
Pennsylvania-specific clearances required, including Child Abuse History Clearance, Department of Human Services Fingerprinting, and PATCH State Police Clearance
