Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology role requiring 2+ years of experience and current ACLS, BLS, and Fluoro Permit certifications.
Details
Work in a Cardiac Interventional Radiology Lab performing diagnostic and interventional procedures
4x10 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
Weekend rotation required every 3rd weekend
On-call responsibilities as needed
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology required
Current ACLS, BLS, and Fluoro Permit required
CA state license required if applicable
Charting system experience required (any system)
Skilled in a wide range of vascular, genitourinary, abdominal, pelvic, and neurological interventional procedures
Experience with vascular closure systems, sterile technique, and infection control practices
Additional Information
Support cardiologists, radiologists, and registered nurses in the execution and technical analysis of interventional procedures
Provide patient assessment, monitoring, and communication to ensure safe, precise care under physician supervision
May mentor or train students
Work within a Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, EP Lab, Hybrid OR, and Special Procedures settings
Experience with equipment such as GE Innova IGS, Siemens, and PACS preferred
Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
Returning staff/travelers must have a 1-year separation before reapplying
Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract with only 1 holiday request allowed
