Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Vascular Lab requiring 24+ months of hospital-based interventional vascular/IR experience.
Details
Vascular Lab setting within a hospital or medical center
4x9 hour day shifts, start, 36 hours per week
Call requirement of 6-8 days per month including every 4th/5th weekend based on staffing needs
EMR system used is Epic
Holiday rotation required unless the unit is closed
Requirements
Minimum of 24 months of interventional vascular/IR lab experience in a hospital or medical center setting required
Cardiac Cath Lab/CCL experience in a hospital or medical center setting preferred
Proficiency in endovascular procedures preferred
Experience with thrombolytics highly preferred
Active BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
RCIS/CCI or ARRT certification preferred
Iowa Radiology license highly preferred;
license required if applicable
Driver's license required for consideration
Professional reference from a supervisor, charge nurse, manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months preferred
Additional Information
Work involves interventional vascular and IR lab procedures
Candidates must be willing to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed
Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered for the travel rate
Prior UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN float pool) may be restricted from working travel assignments at other UPH facilities within 12 months of separation
