Job Details
Position Description: Responsible for supporting maternal and newborn health through comprehensive care practices.
Required Qualifications: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Demonstrated ability to perform electronic fetal monitoring
Demonstrated IV Skills and ability to perform lab draws
Demonstrated knowledge of high-risk medication administration (Magnesium, Oxytocin, Insulin)
Demonstrated ability to perform Urine Point of Care testing
Demonstrated knowledge of capillary blood glucose testing
Demonstrated knowledge of IStat testing
Demonstrated ability to perform Adult Cardiac monitoring
Knowledge of newborn monitors including pulse oximetry and cardiac monitoring
Ability to perform heel sticks/venipuncture on newborns
Knowledge of newborn medication administration, IV maintenance
Knowledge of Bili-blankets/lights and radiant warmers
Ability to support gynecology teaching and post-operative bladder training
Ability to support maternal-newborn teaching
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
Minimum three (3) years of labor and delivery experience
Minimum three (3) years of postpartum experience
Minimum one (1) year of medical/surgical nursing experience
Schedule: Night shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Submission Requirements: Candidates must meet all required qualifications listed above.
